ABOUT THIS GATHERING

About the collaboration

Jamie Malone is a James Beard-nominated chef and founder of Paris Dining Club based in Minneapolis. “I became a cook because food a is beautiful way to learn about the world. I desired a life full of things to be curious about. I knew that cooking would ensure an endless list of things to discover. Science, art, anthropology, history, regionality, food can bring us anywhere. Food can do something else that is extraordinary, it can connect us. Exploration creates meaning and connection brings joy. I'm determined to find more of both. One subject at a time. Join me. If even for a moment, reject the frenetic, egocentric approach to life. The world is magic, and people are magic. Let’s be curious and open hearted while we allow the world to show us its beauty.”

Liz Gardner is a creative director working across space, image, and cultural narrative. Her work focuses on the development of hospitality and cultural environments as authored worlds—where architecture, material, and programming align into a coherent atmosphere over time.

She is currently leading the design preservation of a historic opera house into a cultural destination, alongside select brand and design work and editorial collaborations with FT / HTSI, Cabana Magazine, The New York Times, Rizzoli, and Phaidon.

Through Maison Bodega and Salonnière Paper, she continues to explore material culture, domestic space, and contemporary life.
