In keeping with Maison Bodega’s exploration of the role of decorative arts within public + private space and celebrating the antiquarian alongside the contemporary, our shoppable assortment includes collectibles contextualized alongside 19th century antiques.

No tickets are required but we will limit the number of people shopping at any one time. Enjoy refreshments at Bar Agnes on the first floor of Maison Bodega.

Due to the installation nature of this event, all items purchased need to remain in place until the show ends. We are happy to provide white glove delivery, particularly for larger objects. Any small items will be available for pick-up.

PREVIEW a few ITEMS:

Ugo Zaccagnini was an Italian artist and designer known for his work in the early to mid-20th century. His candelabras from the 1930s reflect the Art Deco style that was popular at the time. These pieces often feature sleek lines, geometric shapes, and a blend of elegance and functionality. Zaccagnini's candelabras from this era might showcase luxurious materials such as brass or bronze, often with intricate details and possibly incorporating elements like polished marble or enamel. The designs would typically emphasize symmetry and streamlined forms, characteristic of the Art Deco movement, which sought to blend modernity with traditional craftsmanship.
Handpainted green and white headboards with classic motifs are wrapped in Scalamandre Le Jardin Du Bonheur silk infused cotton ruffled canopies with tassled tiebacks.
An 1860s English Copeland Majolica green platter is a fascinating piece of Victorian-era ceramics. From WT Copeland & Garrett pottery in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire England, a handled server, circa 1860-1875. Glazed in a deep, luscious green, showing an overlapping leaf pattern with twig form handles. Serrate edging, in perfect condition. One of a few shapes produced in this pattern, this is the rectangular example. Beautiful mold work with nicely pooled glazing with a light iridescence.
Step back in time with this charming Early 1900s French Rattan Portable Case, a timeless piece that embodies both elegance and practicality. Crafted in France during the early 20th century, this unique case combines vintage style with functional design, making it a distinguished addition to any collection or home.

About the hosts

Liz Gardner is a creative director, producer, and writer based in Minneapolis, where she hosts cultural events and salons at Maison Bodega, a 100-year-old building she has been renovating since 2017. With a background in editorial, Liz has worked with Cabana, Architectural Digest, WSJ, The New York Times, Vogue, and Domino.

Taylor Hall O'Brien's love for photography developed in the darkroom of his secondary school. His early career in fashion honed his attention to detail, use of dynamic composition, and openness to an unconventional approach. The projects nearest and dearest to Taylor are those with a strong sense of place, a layered history, and rooms bursting with life. His work has been commissioned by: Cabana, The World of Interiors, Architectural Digest, Domino, Vogue, WWD, Calvin Klein.
