Sometimes You Say Nothing

is the latest chapter in a love letter by Tyler Hoffart of OoO.

A letter he’ll spend the rest of his life writing.

Just over three years ago, the world lost Samuel Kenneth Hoffart when he was hit and killed by a drunk driver. He was my dad and my hero. He was small but big. He’d talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime. He spent a million hours in the seat of a tractor – feeding cattle, pushing dirt, planting seeds. He lived life for his family. He’d do anything - I really mean anything - for us.

When we lost him I was swallowed by a wave. At first, I just thought it was intense pain and grief and longing. And it was. And sometimes still is. But now I know what's at the center of a force that continues to push me – his love living.

And it grows.

As I’ve said more than a few times in the past, Three Circle Shop’s future is dedicated to the fierce love, protection, and belief that spilled from Sam Hoffart like spring rain.

about Ghost shepherd:

(Sculpture)

Materials: Whitened ash, petrified wood, wool yarn

Inspired by traditional Lakota dreamcatchers, Ghost Shepherd is a deeply personal piece dedicated to the artist’s father. It serves as both a nightlight and a gift, offering comfort and connection to the past.

about LARRY, CURLY, MOE:

(Sculptural Screen)

Materials: Black walnut, found steel, wool, Missouri river stone

A tribute to Marah’s late grandfather, Leon Harings, this piece draws inspiration from his love of The Three Stooges. Its playful nature and strong structure reflect both personal and material significance.
